摘要
为提高材料学专业本科生的实验兴趣和实验创新能力,介绍一项具有性能可视化特征的实验设计,即MgAl_(2)O_(4):Mn^(4+)红光荧光粉的合成及表征。采用共沉淀法和熔盐法合成该荧光粉,实验过程涵盖元素掺杂、物相分析、形貌调控、荧光表征,涉及X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜、荧光光谱仪等设备的使用和以光学显微镜和紫外灯为主体的显微荧光测试装置的搭建。实验可重复性好、结果可靠,可培养学生掌握多种材料制备方法以及根据实验需求自搭建组装特殊功能实验仪器的兴趣和能力。
For improving the experimental interest and comprehensive innovation ability of undergraduates majoring in materials science,this paper introduces an experimental case design with property-observable character,i.e.,the synthesis and characterization of the MgAl2 O4:Mn4+red-emitting phosphor.Both co-precipitation and molten-salt methods were used to synthesize the phosphor.The experiment covers the aspects of elemental doping,phase identification,morphology control,and optical measurement.The characterizations mainly involve the use of X-ray diffractometer,scanning electron microscope,spectrophotometer,as well as the self-built setup(mainly based on an optical microscope)for micro-luminescence study.The experiment shows good repeatability and reliability,and the participants can master multi synthesis methods and get inspired to self-build instrument for specific purpose.
