“一带一路”背景下的语言混杂与民族认同研究--基于地方本科高校外语学习者的调查

摘要 关注“一带一路”背景下高校大学生群体的语言使用和民族认同,考察地方本科高校外语学习者语言混杂使用情况、使用动机以及中华民族认同状况。研究发现,地方本科高校校园汉语-外语混杂表达现象总体而言不是十分普遍,但在现实交际情境中,学生使用了相对较多的语言混杂表达。学生的语言混杂表达动机主要有语言现实动机、心理动机、社会规约与个人偏好动机、外语认知与学习动机四类,其中,语言现实动机是学生使用语言混杂表达的普遍性动机。此外,在认知、情感和行为层面学生对中华民族语言、身份和文化均表现出较高的认同度,但英语专业学生的民族认同度总体而言低于非英语专业学生,且在认知和行为层面与非英语专业学生差异显著。 Focusing on the language use and national identity of college students under“The Belt and Road”initiative,the present study investigates the use of language mixing among foreign language learners in local college,their motivation for using the language mixing expressions and their status of Chinese national identity.The study found that the phenomenon of mixed use of Chinese and foreign language expressions on campus of undergraduate in local college is generally not very common,but in the context of communication,students use relatively more language mixing expressions.Students’language mixing motivations mainly include four types.They are the language reality motivation,the psychological motivation,the social conventions and personal preference motivation as well as the foreign language cognition and learning motivation.Among them,the language reality motivation is the commonly recognized motivation for students to use language mixing expressions.In addition,in terms of cognition,emotion,and behavior,students show a high degree of recognition of the Chinese language,identity and culture,but the degree of national identity of English majors is generally lower than that of non-English majors,and is significantly different from that of non-English majors at the level of cognition and behavior.
