“讲好中国故事”视角下英语演讲课程培养跨文化能力的教学路径研究 被引量:19

摘要 培养跨文化能力是我国外语教育的核心要求,也是培养新时代背景下英语专业国际化人才重要目标之一。在对国内外思辨能力相关研究文献整理的基础上,针对英语专业学生本土文化失语症以及外语教学中中国文化缺席的现状,提出以“讲好中国故事”为时代语境,探讨在英语演讲课程的教学过程中,教师如何充分利用本土优秀文化传播为策略,指导学生充实演讲内容、拓展演说过程中的跨文化意识、共情、互动与反思能力,以“讲好中国故事”为主要抓手培养学生的跨文化能力,旨在探索英语演讲教学中跨文化能力培养路径,通过设计、实施、检验有针对性的教学目标和任务,促进学生语言运用能力和跨文化能力的协同发展。 To cultivate students’inter-cultural competence is the core requirement of foreign language education in China,and it is one of the main aims for the cultivation of the international talents in English Major.Based on the literature review on the studies of inter-cultural competence home and abroad,main problems as the local cultural aphasia among Chinese students and the absence of Chinese culture in foreign language teaching are brought into observation.Under the context and guidance of the appealing of“Telling Chinese Stories Well”,a teaching strategy focused on local culture communication is applied to enrich the content of English public speaking courses,so as to empower students with inter-cultural awareness and the ability of empathy,interaction and reflection under multicultural circumstances.The notion of telling Chinese stories well has been adopted as the impetus in a course where inter-cultural competence is emphasized.On the basis of the theoretical research a practical teaching approach or route is designed and testified to enhance student’s language ability and inter-cultural competence in the English Speaking Course.
