摘要
大学校训的生成经历了漫长而曲折的动态发展过程。大学校训生成的智慧与理性萌芽,对光明与自由向往的出场形态,兼具科研与实践功能的推进机理,彰显服务与使命意识的文化自觉,构成了西方大学校训生成的演进过程。中国大学校训的演进生成,蕴含了传统文化基因的气质理想,嫁接了西方现代大学校训的文化要素,留存着中国学人上下求索与革故鼎新的实践印迹,并日益呈现出多元化发展的演进逻辑。面对新时代校训生成的诸多挑战,亟待破译大学制度文化密码。
The formation of university motto has undergone a long and tortuous dynamic development process. The emergence of wisdom and rationality in the formation of university motto, the longing for light and freedom in its presence, the concern of both scientific research and practical functions in its promotion mechanism, and the service and mission awareness in its cultural consciousness constitute the evolution process of the formation of university motto in the west. The generation and evolution of Chinese university motto contains the temperament and ideal of traditional culture, incorporates the cultural elements of western modern university motto, retains the imprint of Chinese scholars’ persevering pursuit and innovation, and increasingly demonstrates the evolution logic of diversified development. In face of many challenges in the generation of university motto in the new era, it is urgent for us to decipher the code of university institutional culture.
