摘要
图书馆作为民国时期普及教育的重要阵地,在教育界占有重要地位,主要表现为图书馆服务于学校教育和社会教育的两大功能。图书馆尽力丰富馆藏资源,提升服务质量和环境,发展图书馆学,在推广儿童阅读和城乡阅读中效果显著。民国时期,图书馆在推进民众阅读、开启民智等方面功不可没。
As an important position for popularizing education in the Republic of China,the library occupied an important position in the education circle,which was mainly manifested in the two major functions of the library in serving school education and social education.The library tried its best to enrich collection resources,improve service quality and environment,and develop library science.It also had a significant effect in promoting children’s reading as well as urban and rural reading.During the period of the Republic of China,libraries played an indispensable role in promoting people’s reading and opening up people’s wisdom.
