摘要
汉墓中的亡者,无论是生活水平尚可的平民、下层官吏,还是高官和贵族,其葬服中多会有以布单衣为代表的布类服装,这是一个值得注意的现象。对汉墓中的遗存及相关信息进行考察,可见约八种布类织物和17种布类服装。这些服装的品质和款式大率朴素而简单。以毋尊布制作的“毋尊单衣”在其中数量最多,地位突出。据典籍记载,葬服中的“明衣裳”和斋戒时所穿的“明衣”颇似,皆布质,素洁,于沐浴后贴身而着,其作用是“交于神明”。“毋尊单衣”的性质或与之相近。古人认为,亡者要返祖归宗,以质朴的形貌在地下拜见先人。穿着“毋尊单衣”这样的葬服,或有“尚质”而复归本原的含义。
It’s noteworthy that the deceased in the Han tombs,whether they were civilians with acceptable living standards,lower-level officials,or highranking officials and nobles,often had cloth clothing represented by cloth singles in their funeral clothing.According to the investigation of the remains and related information in the Han tombs,there were about eight kinds of cloth fabrics and seventeen kinds of cloth clothing.The quality and style of those clothes were plain and simple.The“Wu Zun single clothes”made of Wu Zun cloth accounted for the largest proportion and had a prominent position.According to ancient records,the“Ming clothes”in the funeral clothes were similar to the“Ming clothes”worn during fasting.Both made of cloth,those next-skin-wear after shower were pure and clean,which role were to“hand over to the gods.”The nature of“Wu Zun single clothes”may be similar to it.The ancients believed that the deceased should return to their ancestors underground and worship them with a simple appearance.Wearing a funeral attire such as“Wu Zun single layer garment”may have the meaning of“esteeming the essence“and return to its original meaning.
