Media in the Internet Age is changing from“Convergent media”to“Intelligent media”,which puts forward new requirements on the media literacy of the public. This study examines the historical origins of the concept of“Media Literacy”,analyzes its previous framework models, and concludes that the past theoretical framework is difficult to solve the production, regulatory and economic challenges brought about by the integration of media and mobile technologies. The past media literacy education paradigms contained the requirements of technical evolution of media content production, emphasized ethics and responsibility in the digital society, and also paid attention to the all-round development of human beings, but ignored the technology infrastructure, the content of media regulation and social and economic dimensions, led to the contemporary dilemma of media literacy education in solving quality content production, media supervision, and economic value. On this basis, this paper redevelops and integrates previous studies, proposes a new paradigm of media literacy education based on fusion orientation and multidimensional perspectives, and gives specific practical strategies. It is hoped to lay a foundation for the subsequent research and practice of media literacy education.
