Value of 256-row spiral CT in evaluation of renal artery variation

摘要 目的探讨256层MSCTA在评价肾动脉变异中的价值及临床意义,为肾脏手术提供指导。方法:回顾分析2019年1月至2020年10月期间有肾动脉变异的80例患者的多层螺旋CTA图片资料,进行多平面重组、容积再现和最大密度投影法进行图像评价肾动脉变异,统计肾动脉变异即肾动脉提前分支和副肾动脉的情况。结果:在260个受检者中有80例患者共96个肾脏发现肾动脉变异,发现率为30.8%(80/260),男性占56.7%(45/80),略多于女性,96个肾脏血供变异中,右侧肾脏占59.4%(57/96),略多于左侧;单支型最多见,占94.8%(91/96),双支型占5.2%(5/96),未见多支型;单侧型占67.7%(65/96),多于双侧型。结论:MSCTA技术可清晰显示肾动脉的解剖变异,可作为肾脏手术前检查的无创评估手段,为临床诊断和治疗提供有直接准确的直观信息。 Objective:To investigate the value and clinical significance of 256-row multi-slice spiral CT angiography(MSCTA)in evaluating renal artery variation,so as to provide guidance for renal surgery.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on MSCTA images of 80 patients diagnosed with renal artery variation between January 2019 and October 2020.Renal artery variation was evaluated by using multiple planar reformation,maximum intensity projection,and volume rendering of the MSCTA images.Presence of renal artery variation including the early branching renal artery and accessory renal artery was recorded for these patients.Results:Among the 260 subjects,there were 80 patients(96 kidneys)with renal artery variation,with a detection yield of 30.8%(80/260).Of patients with renal artery variation,there were slightly more males[56.7%(45/80)]than females.Of 96 kidneys with renal artery variation,the lesions were slightly more often in the right kidney[59.4%(57/96)]than in the left kidney.The variations mostly involved single artery branch lesions in 94.8%(91/96),followed by dual branch lesions in 5.2%(5/96)of all cases.Multiple branch involvement was not detected.Unilateral lesions[67.7%(65/96)]were more common compared with bilateral lesions.Conclusion:MSCTA can clearly display the anatomical variation of renal artery,and can be used as a non-invasive evaluation approach during examination before renal surgery to provide direct,accurate and intuitionistic information for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
