摘要
为了提高真空弧推力器的工作寿命,研制了一款能够提供三种放电模式的双阳极磁增强真空弧推力器(Bi-AnodeMVAT)。开展了引弧试验、不同放电模式下推力性能比较试验、失效模式验证试验和寿命考核试验研究。试验结果表明,双阳极放电模式下外界注入脉冲能量对推力器元冲量的平均转化率为1.7μN·s/J,10 Hz下连续放电超过5.2×10^(6)次脉冲,是LVAT-1放电脉冲数的3倍,热失效是影响Bi-AnodeMVAT放电寿命的首要因素。
A Bi-Anode magnetically enhanced vacuum arc thruster(Bi-Anode MVAT)providing 3 discharge modes was developed in order to prolong the vacuum arc thruster’s operational lifetime.Arc ignition test,comparison test of thrust performance under different discharge mode,verifications test of failures mode and thruster lifetime test have been carried.It is shown that the average conversion rate of external injected pulse energy to impulse bit of thruster is 1.7μN·s/J for bi-anode discharge mode,and the continuous discharge at 10 Hz can be triggered up to 5.2×10^(6)pules which is 3 times of LVAT-1’s discharge pulses,and the failure caused by heat is the primary factors affecting the discharge lifetime for Bi Anode MVAT.
