摘要
“格物”出自《礼记·大学》,明代大儒王阳明解“格”为正,正其不正以归于正;解“物”为事,皆从心上说。“格”作为工夫论,即正、诚、致;“物”作为实践对象,指“心”“意”“知”。“格其心之物”对应“正心”;“格其意之物”对应“诚意”;“格其知之物”对应“致知”。“格物”合起便是正心、诚意、致知;从心本体上“格物、致知、诚意、正心”皆是一事。王阳明“格物”的理论建构蕴涵着阳明心学的标志性特征,这显示出“我”作为实践主体在实践过程当中的地位和作用,肯定了人的自主与自信的精神,促进了社会思想的解放。
"Ge Wu"comes from"The Great Learning"of The Book of Rites.Wang Yangming,a great Confucian in the Ming Dynasty,interpreted"Ge"as positive and corrected its irregularities to return to positive.To interpret"Wu"as things is to speak from the heart.The combination of"Ge"and"Wu"means integrity,sincerity and knowledge.From the perspective of mind noumenon,"Ge Wu","Zhi Zhi","Sincerity"and"Right-Heart"are all one thing.The theoretical construction of Wang Yangming's"Ge Wu"is the symbolic feature of Yangming's mind study,which shows the position and role of"I"as the subject of practice in the process of practice,affirms the spirit of human autonomy and self-confidence,and promotes the liberation of social thought.
