摘要
本文通过对日语中出现频率较高的因果范畴标记进行多语体的历时考察,探讨古代日语因果范畴标记的形成与演变过程中汉文训读的透过效应。研究发现:1)日本平安时期的汉文训读体文本与同时期的和文体文本在因果范畴标记的使用上存在显著性差异;2)差异产生的原因在于汉语源语通过训读产生的透过效应,它不仅体现在结构形式层面,还体现在语义用法层面;3)由汉文训读引发的语言特征会迁移至下一个时期的日语原创文本中,其透过效应在日语中具有阶段性。本研究进而认为汉文训读作为语言接触变体,在一定程度上提高了日语语言系统的形式化程度和语义透明度。
This paper purports to investigate the shining-through effect in Japanese kundoku-style translations of classical Chinese through a multi-genre diachronic examination of the causal category markers frequently used in ancient Japanese.The study finds that:1)A significant difference exists in the use of causal category markers between the Kanbun-kundoku texts and the Japanese Wabun(original)style texts in Heian period;2)The cause of the difference is attributed to the shining-through effect of kundoku-style translation from Chinese as its source language,which has been demonstrated in form,meaning as well as usage;3)Since the register features caused by Kanbun-kundoku might have transferred into the original Japanese texts in the next period,the frequencies of occurrence vary in different stages.Furthermore,it can be inferred that Kanbun-kundoku as a site of language contact has,to some extent,contributed to the formalization and semantic transparency of the Japanese language.
