摘要
采用硅烷偶联剂KH-550干法改性煅烧高岭土,研究改性对高岭土性能的影响。结果表明,水解和未水解的硅烷偶联剂对高岭土的改性效果显著,但区别不明显,两种改性方式对3种高岭土白度影响较小,改性后吸油量均下降。扫描电镜分析表明,850℃和900℃煅烧高岭土主要物相为无定型偏高岭土,改性后更易团聚。1000℃煅烧高岭土主要物相为莫来石和石英晶体,改性后不易团聚。红外光谱和能谱分析表明,改性剂分子与3种高岭土粉体表面发生化学结合作用。
The silane coupling agent KH-550 was used to modify calcined kaolin by dry modification process,to explore the influence of modification on the properties of kaolin.The results showed that hydrolyzed and unhydrolyzed silane coupling agents had a significant effect on the modification of kaolin,but the difference was not obvious.The two modification methods had little effect on the whiteness of the three kaolins.After modification,the oil absorption mass decreased.SEM analysis showed that the main phase of calcined kaolin at 800℃or 900℃was amorphous metakaolin,which was easy to agglomerate after modification.And the main phase of calcined kaolin at 1000℃were mullite and quartz crystals,which was difficult to agglomerate after modification.FTIR and EDS analysis showed that the modifier molecules had a chemical combination with the surface of the three kinds of kaolin powder.
