Objective To investigate the value of the reverse shock index multiplied by glasgow coma scale score(rSIG)to predicting in-hospital death with traumatic brain injury. Methods 316 traumatic brain injury were collected in the dep«irtment of emergency from January 2019 to June 2020,divided into death group and survival group according to the in-hospital outcome. The ROC curve was used to evalu.ate the accuracy of rSIG score in predicting in-hospital death. Results The rSIG of patients in the survival group was significantly higher than that in the death group [22.09(15.76,27.32)VS.8.34(5.84,11.42),P<0.05].The AUC of rSIG was 0.842(95%CI:0.798-0.881,P<0.05),The cutoff point was 13.58,the sensitivity was 0.912,and the specificity was 0.794.According to the ROC curve, the cutoff value of rSIG 13.58 was grouped, and the in-hospital mortality rate of patients with rSIG≤ 13.58 was is significantly higher than that of patients with rSIG>13.58.Conclusion rSIG has a high value in predicting in-hospital death in traumatic brain injury.
