The construction of a curriculum system is a systematic and arduous project. The systematic perspective in the new development concept provides a new idea for constructing an outcome-oriented curriculum system. From the systematic perspective, the systematic characteristics of the curriculum system are discussed in detail, such as structural, functional and open characteristics. On this basis, the way of system development is used to construct the curriculum system through four steps including demand analysis, function decomposition, system structure design, adjustment and evolvement. In this way,an outcome-oriented curriculum system can be completed following the philosophy that“talent demand determines training objectives and graduation requirements, training objectives and graduation requirements determine curriculum system, curriculum system supports training objectives and graduation requirements, and training objectives and graduation requirements support talent outcome”.Relying on the training objectives and graduation requirements, various professional courses can be organically integrated into the curriculum system. As a result, various problems existing in the previous curriculum system will be overcome, the requirements of the new development concept will be met and the expected educational outcome of the curriculum system will be reached.
