桑天牛卵啮小蜂对已被寄生桑天牛刻槽的识别

Discrimination Against Already Parasitized Hosts by Aprostocetus prolixus(Hymenoptera:Eupelmidae)

摘要 为了探究桑天牛卵啮小蜂对已被寄生桑天牛刻槽(被寄生蜂产卵并被涂抹产卵分泌物的刻槽)的识别行为,通过选择和非选择性试验,调查桑天牛卵啮小蜂对不同处理刻槽的行为反应。结果显示,选择性试验中,寄生蜂首先接触到已被寄生刻槽(自己寄生或它蜂寄生刻槽)的次数显著少于正常刻槽。无论在选择还是非选择条件下,寄生蜂接触到已被寄生刻槽的时间显著多于正常刻槽,而在已被寄生刻槽上搜索的时间显著少于正常刻槽,且对已被寄生刻槽寄生的比率也显著低于正常刻槽。无论在选择还是非选择性试验中,雌蜂对它蜂寄生刻槽和自己寄生刻槽的行为反应无明显差异。选择性试验中,雌蜂对正常刻槽和它蜂搜索过的刻槽的行为参数间无显著差异。与此类似,雌蜂对已被寄生蜂产卵但未涂抹产卵分泌物的刻槽及正常刻槽的行为参数间也不存在显著差异。研究结果表明该寄生蜂在产卵完成后,通过其产卵器在刻槽表面涂抹产卵分泌物即寄主标记信息素对刻槽进行标记,使寄生蜂通过在近距离感知该标记信息素来识别已被寄生刻槽,该结果有望为揭示该寄生蜂的寄主识别机制以及实现桑天牛的生物防治提供理论依据。 In order to explore the discrimination behavior of Aprostocetus prolixus to already parasitized hosts(the hosts that had previously received oviposition from A.prolixus female and were smeared with oviposition secretions by ovipositor),the behavioral responses of this female parasitoid to differently treated hosts were investigated by choice and nochoice tests in present paper.The results showed that the number of the hosts,which were parasitized by either conspecifics or themselves,first contacted by the female was significantly less than that of the healthy hosts in choice tests.The time elapsed before the female contacting the parasitized hosts was markedly more than that for the healthy hosts,but the searching time of the females on the parasitized hosts was significantly less than that on the healthy ones,and the parasitism rate of the parasitized hosts was significantly lower than that of the healthy hosts,when the parasitoid was placed in either a choice or a no-choice situation.No significant differences in behavioral responses of this parasitoid to both self-and conspecific-parasitized host were found in either choice or no-choice tests.In choice experiments,the significant differences were not detected in the female’s behavior parameters for both of the healthy and conspecific-searched hosts.Likewise,when provided with the healthy host and the host in which the conspecific parasitoid laid eggs but was not smeared with oviposition secretion,the female exhibited the similar behavior pattern to both types of hosts.The results indicate that this female parasitoid after oviposition smeared oviposition secretion namely the host marking pheromone,on the surface of the host through its ovipositor to mark the host,after which the female could discriminate the parasitized host based on perceiving this pheromone at a short distance.The results are expected to provide a theoretical basis for revealing the mechanism for the host discrimination of A.prolixus and realizing the biological control of Apriona germari.
