Ketogenie diet(KD)is a diet structure containing low cearbohydrates, high fat and low protein, which has been used to treat nervous system diseascs, lumors, metabolic diseases and intestinal inflammation, but the specific mechanism is not clear.Intestinal microbiota is an important microbiota regulating host activities, known as the second genome of human body.Intestinal flora disorder is associated with many diseases, and dietary patter is the main driving factor of intestinal microbiota changes. Many studies have shown that KD may exert the above therapeutie ffects by regulating intestinal bacteria. This article reviews the progress of the treatment of KD mediated by intestinal flora.
