摘要
转动惯量是刚体绕轴转动时惯性的量度,具有重要的物理意义和实用价值。文章利用智能手机内置磁力计(magnetometer)和物理实验手机应用软件(phyphox),基于扭摆法定量测量刚体转动惯量.实验结果证实了该方法的可行性,测量精度在可接受范围.在大学物理实验中引入智能手机,不仅能够降低实验成本,而且还能够激发学习兴趣,增强学生探究欲望。
The moment of inertia is a measure of the inertia of a rigid body when it rotates around an axis,which has important physical meaning and practical value.The article uses the smartphone’s built-in magnetometer and physics experiment mobile phone application software(phyphox)to quantitatively measure the rigid body moment of inertia based on the torsion pendulum method.The experimental results confirm the feasibility of the method and the measurement accuracy is within the acceptable range.The introduction of smart phones in college physics experiment can not only reduce the cost of experiments,but also stimulate interest in learning and enhance students’desire to explore.
