新冠疫情后,在以夜市提升城市活力、稳就业、保民生的背景下。为探究影响夜市空间活力的因素;以南京老城24处夜市为研究对象,将其分为商业广场型、商住街区型,并以夜市摊位为中心的5分钟步行圈为基本单元,以社会经济因素、用地功能、场地条件作为夜市空间活力的影响因素,最后对影响因素与人流聚集度的相关性分析以及回归分析;商圈的一站式服务对商业广场型夜市活力影响最为明显,住宅、地铁、全局集成度与活力存在相关性表明了综合体对不同尺度居民均产生了较强的吸引力,而功能混合度呈负相关,主要是由于多功能合一理念以及规划时未考虑昼夜差异;具有更多商业设施的商住街区型夜市更具有空间活力,同时居住、停车场、公交站、局域集成度与活力存在相关性证明了街区型夜市一般只对小范围居民产生吸引力的论断;商业广场型夜市扩展了居民的消费维度,优先选址于一站式服务全面,且商业设施数量相对较多,全局通达度高的区域;商住街区型夜市主要满足周边居民各种生活上的需求,以浓厚的烟火气息和历史文化感吸引其他范围人群。交通便利且商业丰富的街区成为该类夜市的首选位置。
Since the outbreak of COVID-19,night markets have been used to promote the city’s vitality,stabilize employment,and guarantee people’s livelihoods.This paper aims to explore factors that affect the vitality of the night market space and determine the optimal method of combining the night market with surrounding functional spaces.The quantitative research results can be used as references to promote the economic development of the urban area of Nanjing after the pandemic.The 24 night markets in the old city of Nanjing were chosen.They were divided into commercial squares and commercial-residential streets.In this study,circular areas within a 5-minute walking distance to night markets were considered the basic unit.The socioeconomic factors(population density in streets and regional economic vitality),land use functions(public management and public services,commercial service industry,traffic,and residential areas)and field conditions(functional mixing,global integration and local integration)were chosen as influencing factors of the vitality of night markets.Various types of spatial data(e.g.,POI,thermodynamic charts and road networks)were quantitatively analyzed and spatial sentence correlations were analyzed using Arc GIS and Depthma.Moreover,correlations between influencing factors and crowd clustering degree were analyzed and a regression analysis was carried out to explore factors that influence the spatial vitality of night markets.One-stop services such as science and education,culture,sports,commerce,entertainment,and exercise facilities in business districts are the most significant factors that influence the vitality of commercial squares.The correlation among the residential areas(small pedestrian volume),subway(large pedestrian volume),and overall degree of integration and vitality indicates that the complex strongly attracts residents of different scales,while the degree of functional mixing negatively impacts space vitality.This is mainly because the concept of day-night differences is not considered in multi-functional integration and planning.The composition of each specific functional subdivision is more important than the degree of mixing itself.The commercial and residential streets with more commercial facilities and better parking convenience have stronger spatial vitality.Furthermore,the correlations of different influencing factors are related to small-scale people flow,such as residential areas,bus stops and local integration.In other words,commercial and residential streets are generally attractive to small-scale residents.Commercial squares within commercial complexes increase the dimensions in which residents carry out consumer activities,resulting in multi-dimensional consumer activity.Residents prefer areas with comprehensive onestop services,a relatively large number of commercial facilities,and high overall accessibility.Commercial and residential streets mainly meet the various living needs of surrounding residents and attract tourists with a strong sense of life,history,and culture.Streets with convenient transportation and abundant commercial opportunities are highly appreciated.In addition,various night markets can increase flow and attract non-local consumers through social platforms by adding stalls that are famous on the Internet.This study has some limitations and can be further strengthened and improved.Firstly,data were mainly obtained from thermal maps and various large datasets that were accessed online.These sources may be affected by sample bias and insufficient explanatory power.In future studies,data from field investigations and public participation can be added,and the extent of day-night comparison can be increased to increase the accuracy of the study.Secondly,the distribution of mobile stalls and shops in each night market can be combined to further narrow down the research unit.
