摘要
在以往的死亡哲学研究中,学界对黑格尔的死亡观缺乏应有的重视。黑格尔创造性地提出了死亡的“二重奏”意义:其一,死亡既是“自然”的,即死亡由自然规律所必然推至,又是“自为”的,因为人可以为了伦理实体而死,进而充分实现生命的伦理本性;其二,死亡既是“无尊严”的,即死者只能屈服于外界力量的侵蚀与毁灭,又是“有尊严”的,因为家庭成员可以通过丧礼维护死者人之为“人”的最后尊严。另外,在“文明对话”的宏观视野中,综观黑格尔与儒家的死亡观将有助于深入理解人类死亡及丧礼的奥秘与意蕴。
In previous studies of death philosophy,the academic community did not attach due importance to Hegel's viewpoints of death.Hegel creatively proposed the double meaning of death.Firstly,death is not only natural,that is to say death is inevitable due to the laws of nature,but also self-conscious,because people would die for the sake of ethical entities to fully realize the ethical nature of life.Secondly,death enjoys no dignity,that is to say the dead have no choice except succumbing to the erosion and destruction of external forces.Meanwhile,death can be dignified,because family members can maintain the final dignity of the dead as human through funerals.In addition,in the macro perspective of dialogue of civilizations,a comprehensive study of Hegel's and Confucian viewpoints of death will help us understand the mystery and meaning of death and funeral.
