摘要
分析英语课堂教学中交流活动的趣味性与研究生口头和书面交流意愿的关系,从而探究是否可以通过合理设计英语课堂交流活动,提高研究生的英语交流意愿,促进英语学习。通过类实验的方法,利用自我报告量表收集数据,对比同一组研究生对不同课堂交流活动的趣味性等因素的感知和活动过程中的口头和书面交流意愿,探究交流活动趣味性等课堂环境因素对研究生英语交流意愿的影响。分析结果表明,研究生在选定的两项交流活动中交流意愿有显著差异,交流意愿与交流活动的趣味性呈正相关。交流意愿同时还受到交流活动的有效性和挑战性等因素的影响。因此,研究生英语教师可通过提高交流活动的趣味性,激发研究生的英语交流意愿,从而促进研究生的英语学习。
To explore whether it is possible to improve graduate students'willingness to communicate(WTC)and facilitate their English learning by designing appropriate communication activities,this study analyzes the relationships between task-interest and WTC(both orally and in writing).The present study is a quasi-experiment,using self-report questionnaires to explore graduate students'perceived task-interest and WTC in different communication activities in English classes.Statistics show significant differences in WTC in two com⁃munication activities,and positive correlations between task-interest and WTC.Qualitative data show that students'WTC is also influ⁃enced by task-effectiveness and task-difficulty.To facilitate students'English learning,English teachers can trigger students'WTC by im⁃proving task-interest.
