摘要
移动互联网和物联网应用产生大量的间歇性小数据,5G系统需要高效支持这类数据的传输。基于5G R15/R16的技术基础分析5G小数据传输增强技术的设计目标;根据5G R17最新标准进展,分析RRC非激活状态下终端小数据传输增强技术,包括小数据传输基本过程和资源配置与选择、小数据传输的发起、后续数据传输等技术方案;并对小数据传输技术的后续演进方向进行分析。5G小数据传输增强技术能够降低传输时延和空口信令开销,满足间歇性小数据业务的传输需求。
Since mobile Internet and Internet of Things applications generate a large amount of intermittent small data packets,5G system needs to efficiently support the transmission of such data.Based on the technical foundation of 5G R15/R16,the design target of 5G small data transmission enhancement is analyzed.According to the latest development of 5G R17 standardization,the enhancement technologies of small data transmission for UE in RRC;NACTIVE state are analyzed,including the basic procedure,resource configuration and selection,initiation of small data transmission,subsequent data transmission solutions,etc.The further evolution direction for small data transmission is analyzed.5G small data transmission enhancement reduces the transmission delay and air interface signaling overhead,and meets the transmission requirements of intermittent small data.
