摘要
光模块作为光纤通信系统中的核心器件有着十分重要的意义,而如何快速准确地测试光模块性能是一个关键环节,因此介绍了一种10 Gbit/s SFP+光模块测试平台的设计与优化过程。首先重点分析了多通道测试板的设计步骤,包括USB转I^(2)C和电源的设计方法;然后讨论了以SFF-8472协议为标准,利用数字诊断功能进行校准和监测重要数据的原理。最后对模块进行了测试,结果显示系统误码率在1E-13以下,光功率与标准值的误差稳定在±0.5 dBm之间,表明了所提出的用多通道测试的可行性,证明其可提升测试效率。
The optical module is of great significance as the core device in the optical fiber communication system,and how to quickly and accurately test the performance of the optical module is a key link.Therefore,the design and optimization process of a 10 Gbit/s SFP+optical module test platform is introduced.The design steps of the multi-channel test board are analyzed,including the design method of USB to I^(2)C and power supply,and then the principle of using the digital diagnostic function to calibrate and monitor important data based on the SFF-8472 protocol is discussed.Finally,the module is tested,and the result shows that the bit error rate of the system is below 1 E-13,and the error between the optical power and the standard value is stable within±0.5 dBm,which indicates the feasibility of the proposed multi-channel test and the method can improve the test efficiency.
