The Sichuan-Tibet Railway is a first-class railway with both passenger and freight lines. The speed levels of EMU trains, ordinary passenger trains and freight trains are very different, especially in the case of some large distances between stations. The waste of capacity in the triangle area is very serious.Based on the premise that the ability to meet the long-term passenger and freight transportation needs, the transportation organization difficulty of the passenger and freight co-line transportation organization mode, the safety of train organization, the balance of departure intervals, and the reasonable use of facilities and equipment analyzed. It is recommended that the Sichuan-Tibet Railway adopt incomplete time-sharing passenger and freight co-line mode,EMU trains are tracked and run in groups, ordinary passenger trains and freight trains are tracked and run in groups, making full use of the capacity of the air-toll triangle area, reducing the impact of speed differences on capacity, and improving cargo entry the box rate allows the use of the"movable goods rendezvous,no speed limit for motor vehicles"mode. The study on the operation mode of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway has certain reference significance for the determination of the transportation organization mode of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway.
