Objective:To explore the effect of evidence-based pain nursing on postoperative recovery of hemorrhoid surgery patients. Methods:A total of 84 patients with hemorrhoids admitted to our hospital from March 2019 to July 2020 were selected, all underwent surgical treatment, and randomly grouped according to the number table method, including the control group(n=42)and the observation group(n=42).The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group used evidence-based pain nursing. The visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain during the first dressing change and defecation and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups of patients at 24h and 48h after surgery. Results:The observation group's VAS scores at 24h and 48h after the first dressing change and defecation were lower than those of the control group, and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Evidence-based pain nursing for patients undergoing hemorrhoid surgery can effectively reduce their postoperative pain and can be applied in clinical practice.
