特高压柔性直流MMC故障子模块的高可靠旁路方法 被引量:1

摘要 模块化多电平换流器(MMC)运行过程中需将故障功率模块迅速从桥臂中旁路出去,以减少对MMC的不利影响。为提高MMC功率模块发生故障后被旁路的可靠性,提出了一种基于辅助旁路晶闸管技术的功率模块高可靠旁路方法。在功率模块交流端口并联辅助旁路晶闸管,仅作为无源过压保护元件,利用其过压击穿实现对功率模块的旁路保护。分析了辅助旁路晶闸管的过压失效模式和击穿稳定性,并基于乌东德特高压多端混合直流示范工程仿真分析了所提方法的可行性和有效性。通过增加散热器可使辅助旁路晶闸管短路失效后的温度稳定在70℃左右,满足长期旁路通流要求。 During the operation of the modular multilevel converter(MMC),the faulty power module needs to be quickly bypassed from the bridge arm to reduce its adverse effects on the MMC.In order to improve the reliability of MMC power module being bypassed after failure,a high-reliability bypass method of power module based on auxiliary bypass thyristor technology is proposed.The auxiliary bypass thyristor is connected in parallel to the AC port of the power module,which is only used as a passive overvoltage protection component,and its overvoltage breakdown is used to realize the bypass protection of the power module.The overvoltage failure mode and breakdown stability of the auxiliary bypass thyristor are analyzed,and the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified based on the simulation analysis of Wudongde UHV multi-terminal hybrid DC demonstration project.By adding a radiator,the temperature of the auxiliary bypass thyristor after short-circuit failure can be stabilized at about 70℃,which can meet the long-term bypass flow requirements.
