华侨留守儿童孤独感及其与社会支持、自尊关系 被引量:3

The relationship between overseas Chinese left-behind children’s loneliness,social support and self-esteem

摘要 研究以侨乡学校651名六至九年级的儿童为被试,考察了华侨留守儿童孤独感现状及与社会支持、自尊的关系。结果显示:(1)华侨留守儿童的孤独感水平显著高于非留守儿童;(2)双亲出国的留守儿童孤独感体验显著高于单亲出国的儿童;留守5年以下儿童孤独感显著低于留守5年以上的儿童;(3)社会支持显著预测华侨留守儿童的孤独感,且自尊在社会支持和华侨留守儿童的孤独感之间起中介作用,因此,通过增强华侨留守儿童的社会支持系统,提高自尊水平,可减少其孤独感体验。 This study investigated the relationship between loneliness,social support and self-esteem among 651 children from Grade 6 to Grade 9 in schools at overseas Chinese hometown.The findings are as follows:(1)the loneliness level of overseas Chinese left-behind children was significantly higher than that of non-left-behind children;(2)children from the both-parent-migrant families showed a significant higher level of perceived loneliness than those from single-parent-migrant families;and the loneliness of left-behind children for less than 5 years was significantly lower than that of children left behind for more than 5 years;(3)social support significantly predicted the loneliness of overseas Chinese left-behind children,and self-esteem played a mediating role between social support and loneliness of overseas Chinese left-behind children.Therefore,enhancing the social support system for overseas Chinese left-behind children to improve self-esteem can reduce their loneliness experience.
