摘要
为了满足音乐院校学生对专业英语的学习需求,提高大学英语口语课堂的教学效果,将基于学科内容的CBI教学法和以项目、展示、研讨三步骤的PPS教学法应用于音乐专业的英语口语教学。实践证明,CBI+PPS教学法应用于音乐专业英语口语教学有利于激发学生学习英语的积极性,培养学生自主学习的能力与团队合作的能力,提高学生英语口语与音乐知识的应用能力,为学生从大学英语课程过渡到音乐专业的英语课程奠定基础,也为形成并完善具有校本特色的大学英语课程体系提供依据。
In order to meet the needs of music school students for learning professional English and improve the teaching effect of oral English class,the CBI approach based on subject content and the the three-step PPS(Project,Presentation,and Seminars)approach are applied to the oral English teaching for music majors.The practice has proved that the CBI+PPS teaching model is effective in terms of stimulating students’enthusiasm for learning oral English,cultivating students’independent learning ability and teamwork ability,and helping to enhance students’practical competences of oral English and the knowledge of music.It helps to lay the foundation for students’transition from College English courses to English courses for music majors.It provides a basis for building up a college English curriculum system with school-based characteristics.
