Rheological Properties of High Modulus Asphalt Binder

摘要 为提高沥青路面的耐久性,丰富长寿命路面结构组合方案,急需对沥青结合料高模量技术开展深入研究。研究围绕2种高模量技术手段,采用常见的高模量剂HM-A制备改性沥青以及20号硬质沥青,分别采用差示扫描量热(DSC)试验研究2种结合料的物质组成特性,采用动态剪切流变(DSR)试验和多应力蠕变恢复(MSCR)试验分析热氧老化前后沥青流变性能及高温流变性能,开展了黏弹物理模型参数分析,最后运用汉堡车辙试验、动态模量试验进行比较。研究结果表明:硬质沥青老化前后温度敏感性低于高模量改性沥青;老化沥青的相位角δ较老化前下降,车辙因子G^(+)/sinδ较老化前升高;同温度下,随着应力增大不可恢复蠕变柔量J_(nr)增大、蠕变恢复率R减少,在相同应力下随着温度增大J_(nr)增大、R减小;Burgers模型说明温度对沥青结合料的黏弹性影响显著,HM-A对基质沥青高温性能提升明显,最佳掺量为8%。其中,高模量剂与基质沥青标号匹配方可发挥出高模量沥青的优势。 In order to improve the durability of asphalt pavement and enrich the combination of long-life pavement structure, it is urgent to carry out in-depth research on the high modulus technology of asphalt binder. Focusing on two high modulus technical means, the common high modulus agent HM-A is used to prepare modified asphalt and 20# hard asphalt, and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) is used to study the material composition characteristics of the two binders. Dynamic shear rheology(DSR) and multiple stress creep recovery(MSCR) are used to analyze the rheological properties and high-temperature rheological properties of asphalt before and after thermal oxidative aging, and the viscoelastic physical model parameters are analyzed. Finally, the Hamburg rutting experiment and dynamic modulus test are used to conduct comparisons. The research results show that the temperature sensitivity of hard asphalt before and after aging is lower than that of high modulus modified asphalt;the phase angle δ of aging asphalt decreases compared with that before aging, and the rutting factor G^(+)/sinδ increases compared with that before aging. As the stress increases, the non-recoverable creep compliance J_(nr)increases, and the creep recovery rate R decreases. Under the same stress, as the temperature increases, J_(nr)increases and R decreases. Burgers model shows that temperature has a significant impact on the viscoelasticity of asphalt binder. HM-A can significantly improve the high-temperature performance of base asphalt, and the best content is 8%. Matching the high modulus agent with the base asphalt mark can give play to the advantages of high modulus asphalt.
