In the digital age, the deep integration of digital finance and real economy plays an important role in promoting high-quality economic development. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces from 2011 to 2019, this paper evaluates the impact of the development of digital finance on the employment structure of labor force. The research results show that in the nationwide area, the development of digital finance will reduce the demand for medium skilled labor force and increase the demand for low skilled labor force, that is, China’s labor force employment structure presents "one-way polarization" trend, but at present, this substitution effect is small. From the perspective of region, the demand for labor in the eastern region shows an advanced trend, but the labor market in the western region is still dominated by medium and low skilled labor. Therefore, we should pay attention to the vocational skill training of medium skilled labor force, and guide vocational transformation or cross industry mobility;increase the investment in higher education and increase the scale and number of highly skilled talents;improve the preference for resources in areas with slow development, such as the central and western regions, and promote the balanced distribution of digital resources and human resources.
