摘要
中国在国际资本舞台具有投资国与东道国的双重身份。本文系统梳理了双向FDI影响绿色全要素生产率(GTFP)的理论机制,利用耦合协调函数测度了双向FDI协调发展水平,基于中国30个省份2003—2018年数据,构建动态面板模型与中介效应模型,实证研究了双向FDI协调发展对GTFP的内在机制与异质性影响。结果表明:(1)将双向FDI分别来看,IFDI会显著抑制GTFP,OFDI则会促进GTFP提升。(2)将GTFP分解后发现,IFDI对绿色技术进步起到抑制作用,OFDI则对绿色技术进步具有显著促进作用。(3)将双向FDI综合时,双向FDI协调发展能够显著提升GTFP水平。(4)IFDI通过技术溢出缓解其对GTFP的抑制作用、而通过加剧劳动错配和改善资本错配作用于GTFP;OFDI与双向FDI协调发展则通过技术溢出效应、缓解劳动和资本错配效应促进GTFP。(5)不同动因的双向FDI对GTFP存在异质性影响,其中互补性双向FDI对GTFP的促进作用更明显。
In recent years, China is playing an important role in the international capital arena with the dual identity of an investor and a host country.This paper combs the theoretical mechanism of the impact of two-way FDI on green total factor productivity(GTFP)systematically, and uses the coupling coordination function to measure the level of coordinated development of two-way FDI based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2003 to 2018.Then, this paper established a dynamic panel model and mediating effect model to studies the internal mechanism and heterogeneity of two-way FDI on GTFP.The results show that:(1)When the IFDI and OFDI are isolated, IFDI will significantly inhibit GTFP,and OFDI will promote GTFP.(2)After decomposing GTFP,IFDI inhibits the green technological progress, while OFDI significantly promotes the green technological progress.(3)When two-way FDI is integrated, the coordinated development of two-way FDI can promote GTFP.(4)Through the mediation effect model, it is found that IFDI relieves its inhibitory effect on GTFP through technology spillover, and acts on GTFP by exacerbating labor misllocation and improving capital misllocation;OFDI and two-way FDI coordinated development promotes GTFP through technology spillover effects, mitigation of labor and capital misllocation effects.Different motivations of two-way FDI has a heterogeneous effect on GTFP,and complementary two-way FDI has a more significant promotion effect on GTFP.
