Transforming Turnaround Schools in China:Strategies,Achievements,and Challenges

摘要 The existence of turnaround schools has been a problem in the Chinese education system.There are diverse causes including the education system itself,the financial system,and other issues.However,there has been a lack of research to help us fully understand this phenomenon.This article provides a holistic perspective on the strategies the Chinese government has used to improve turnaround schools,the achievements that have been made,and challenges in the change process.Implications for transformative practice will also be explored.
