摘要
学界一般将秦人的价值观概述为“重功利、轻伦理”“尚大求全”等,但根据出土的睡虎地秦简等简牍材料来看,在秦人的价值观念里,生活、人伦、情感等同样占有重要地位,具有朴素自然的特点。“务实好利”等评价未必全面,尤其没有反映秦代社会民众的普遍心理与价值观念。而秦人价值观之所以留下了“功利”的印象,则可从六国抗秦的政治需要及商鞅变法的影响这两点来分析。
The values of the Qin people are generally described in academic circles as“emphasizing utilitarianism over ethics”and“seeking perfection by being big”,but according to the unearthed materials such as the“Shui Hu Di Qin”and other bamboo slips,the values of the Qin people also included life,human ethics and emotions,and were characterized by simplicity and naturalness.The Qin people’s values were also characterised by simplicity and naturalness.The assessment of“pragmatism and profitability”may not be comprehensive,especially as it does not reflect the general psychology and values of the people of the Qin dynasty.The reason for the impression that Qin values were‘utilitarian’can be analysed in the light of the political needs of the six states to resist the Qin and the influence of Shang Yang’s reform.
