摘要
外语习得中拥有积极、正向的学习动机是很重要的。大学非英语专业学生在英语习得中存在阅读意愿低、阅读成绩难以提高的问题。为了帮助学习者对学习产生学习欲望,将所习得的内容进行输入、内化,美国著名教授John·M·Keller提出了ARCS动机模式;将该模式运用到大学英语阅读当中,能够帮助教师刺激学生的学习欲望,提高教学质量以及学生英语阅读学习效率。
Positive motivation plays an important role in foreign language acquisition.College non-English majors have low reading intention and difficulties in improving their reading scores in English learning.The ARCS motivation model proposed by John M.Keller,a famous American psychologist,can fully stimulate students’interest and promote language input and internalization.Combining this model with college English reading can maintain students’learning motivation and effectively improve their classroom learning efficiency.
