摘要
工程陶瓷硬度高、脆性大,是典型的难加工材料。目前,多采用恒定压力磨削的方式进行孔加工,但孔加工时间不确定、效率低,工具磨损严重。采用新型薄壁金刚石套料钻对Al_(2)O_(3)工程陶瓷进行恒定进给速度孔加工试验研究,从孔口质量、轴向力、孔壁表面粗糙度以及工具磨损特性等几个方面分析了其工艺效果。结果表明,新型薄壁金刚石套料钻头可以实现工程陶瓷的恒定进给速度孔加工,并具有良好的加工质量和工具寿命。研究结果可为工程陶瓷的工程化批量孔加工提供参考。
Being of high hardness and high brittleness,engineering ceramics is typical difficult-to-machine materials.At present,the constant pressure grinding is widely used for the hole machining of engineering ceramics.However,the machining time per hole is uncertain,with low efficiency and serious tool wear.In this study,the new thin-walled diamond trepanning bit was used for drilling Al_(2)O_(3)engineering ceramics under a constant feeding rate.The process effect was analyzed intensively according to the hole outlet quality,axial force,surface roughness of hole wall and tool wear characteristics.The results show that drilling engineering ceramics under a constant feeding rate could be achieved,with good machining quality and long service life of tool.The research results achieved in this study provide a helpful reference for the engineering batch hole machining of engineering ceramics.
