摘要
大运河意象丰富,包含“水系意象”“空间意象”“风物意象”,内涵丰厚。运河诗歌的英译活动,能让目标语文化背景的读者重新认识和了解源语文化。因此,通过建构主义的翻译视角探究古诗词英译本中出现的运河意象,有助于协调好来源语和目的语的沟通差异,减少因文化差异造成的理解模糊和偏差,对拓宽运河形象的传播途径起到积极作用。
The image of the Grand Canal is full of humanistic and historical connotations, including water image, spatial image and natural image. The translation of the Chinese poetry on the Grand Canal to English could help readers of the target language understand and learn about the culture of the source language. Therefore, based on the constructivist view of translation, exploring the canal images in ancient poems will play a positive role in bridging the gap of communication between the two languages, reducing misunderstanding and ambiguity caused by cultural differences, and promoting the dissemination of the canal image.
