摘要
“口罩”作为技术物品在社会生活中承担着一定的物理功能,毋庸置疑它也是文化的符号与象征。在新冠肺炎疫情期间,“口罩”的佩戴与否引发了人们对异质文明差异性的讨论与反思。透过“口罩”这一技术物品表象,深度挖掘其在跨文化交际中深层次的隐喻含义,将使我们更清楚地认识到“口罩”在医学、价值观以及文化层面所呈现的不同的象征意义,使我们增强对中西方文化差异的表现及其根源的理解,从而帮助人们更好地消除异质文明之间的藩篱,增强对抗新冠肺炎疫情的相互理解——坚持共同体原则,共同行动才是最为重要与关键的举措。
As a technical product,“mask”plays a certain physical function in social life.There is no doubt that“mask”is also a symbol of culture.During the COVID-19 pandemic,whether to wear“masks”or not has caused people to discuss and reflect on the differences of heterogeneous civilizations.Exploration of the metaphors of“mask”in cross-cultural communication will be helpful to find out its symbolic significance in aspects of medical science,values and cultures,to be more aware of the phenomena and roots of cultural differences,to better eliminate misunderstandings between heterogeneous civilizations and to enhance the mutual understanding against the epidemic.Adhering to the principle of community and acting together is the most important and crucial measure.
