摘要
针对当前高校气象类实验教学天气图的手工绘图环节中用图繁琐的问题,开发了矢量天气图自动填图系统代替传统的专业填图机填图。该填图系统基于Python的cartopy和优化后的metpy工具包开发,在读取站点填图数据并进行筛减和订正后,绘制地图及站点填图信息并输出pdf和svg矢量图文件,用自定义的气象符号集辅助完成手工电子天气图绘图。实验表明,该填图系统的站点气象要素显示不重叠,且站点区站号和气象要素也容易辨认。同时,将其应用于实验教学中,大幅降低了批量印刷成本、保证大幅面输出的清晰度及实现填图机和气象业务用填图系统所不具备的电子天气图作业功能,可推广至各高校的气象专业实验教学。
To solve the problem of weather chart used on manual drawing in meteorological experiment teaching,an automatic plotting system of vector weather chart is adopted to replace the chart plotting machine.The plotting system is developed based on Python cartopy toolkit and optimized metpy toolkit.Firstly,station data are read,screened and revised by plotting system,then it draws map and plots station data,and outputs pdf and svg vector chart files,finally a set of meteorological symbols are customized to assist in the manual drawing of electronic weather chart.Experimental results show that the meteorological elements of station data in plotting system do not overlap,and the station designators and meteorological elements in plotting system are easy to identify.Furthermore,application of the plotting system in experiment teaching can also reduce cost of mass printing,ensure clarity of large-scale output,and realize homework function based on electronic weather chart that plotting machine and plotting system used by meteorological business department do not have,so it is suitable for extensive popularization in experiment teaching.
