摘要
创意机械装置(Automata),也称为木偶机,是一种古老的玩具种类,有着两千多年的历史。它由表演部件、机械结构部件和手动摇杆三部分组成,制作者通过表演部件的动作讲述一件事情或者表达一个理念,当人们转动摇杆时,木偶开始循环表演相应的动作。创意机械装置在国内外都有良好的受众基础,现在故宫博物院里仍然保存着一些清代宫廷使用过的西洋机械玩具。创意机械装置的设计需要设计思维、艺术造型、机械原理等多领域知识,创意机械装置的制作需要精细木工、机械加工、装配调试等多方面技术,因此完成一个创意机械装置具有一定的挑战性。
Creative mechanical device(Automata),also known as puppet machine,is an ancient toy type,with a history of more than two thousand years.It consists of three parts:performance parts,mechanical structure parts and manual rocker.The maker tells a story or expresses a concept through the actions of the performance parts.When people turn the rocker,the puppet starts to perform the corresponding actions in a cycle.Creative mechanical devices have a good audience base at home and abroad,and now the Palace Museum still keeps some western mechanical toys used by the Qing court.The design of creative mechanical devices requires knowledge in many fields,such as design thinking,artistic modeling and mechanical principles.The production of creative mechanical devices requires fine carpentry,mechanical processing,assembly and debugging,etc.Therefore,it is challenging to complete a creative mechanical device.
