摘要
萧子显的史学思想来源复杂。与同时期的史书相比,《南齐书》中所记载的神异事件较少,多是出于佛教因果报应思想,而非当时的鬼神思想。受儒家名教思想的影响,萧子显一方面注重记载礼制改革和杜绝淫祀之事,另一方面极力回护其祖父、父亲,隐去了齐明帝萧鸾的一些生平事迹,着重言其残杀同宗之事。玄学思想在《南齐书》的人物品评中仍有体现,但在历史评论中已不甚明显。萧子显的历史评论好用典、多对句,随事发议,体现出强烈的致用精神,但对历史思维方面涉及不多。
Xiao Zixian's historical ideas have different sources.Compared with the historical books of the same period,his book History of the Southern Qi recorded fewer stories about gods and spirits,which contributed to Buddhist ideas of karma rather than the prevalent ideas about gods and spirits at that time.Influenced by Confucianism,Xiao Zixian focused on the reform of the ritual system and the elimination of excessive religious activities on the one hand;but on the other hand,he tried to maintain the reputation of his grandfather and father,and concealed some facts about Xiao Luan,the Ming Emperor of Qi who killed many members of the imperial family.In addition,metaphysical ideas are found in his evaluation of some historical figures,but they are less evident in the historical commentary.He is good at using allusions and antithesis in his historical commentary.And his comments are based on specifie events,reflecting his emphasis on practicality,but he does not deal much with historical think ing.
