摘要
良好的路面抗滑性能是车辆安全行驶的重要保障,而集料品质是影响沥青路面抗滑性能的重要因素之一。集料的耐磨光性能直接决定路面抗滑性能的衰变规律和抗滑终值。因此,集料磨光值的表征和评价对沥青路面全寿命周期抗滑性能的研究具有重要意义。为充分明确粗、细集料对沥青路面长期抗滑性能的影响,引入了3种新的试验方法:(1)使用Wehner/Schulze(W/S)加速磨光试验对不同种类粗、细集料的磨光值进行评价;(2)使用自主研发的轮式加速磨光机对9组试样进行加速磨光试验;(3)使用W/S试验仪抗滑测试机体在速度为60 km·h和水膜覆盖条件下测量试件磨光后的动摩擦因数。结果表明:(1)集料矿物成分是决定磨光值的重要因素,且磨光值越高沥青路面的长期抗滑性能越好;(2)密级配沥青路面细集料对路面长期抗滑性能的影响比粗集料更大;(3)W/S加速磨光试验不仅较Polished Stone Value (PSV)试验结果精度更高,还能评价细集料的抗磨光值;(4)不同抗滑检测设备与试验方法间具有较大的差异性,轮式加速磨光试验能对试件的全磨耗周期行为进行表征,W/S抗滑检测则可在高速动态旋转和水膜覆盖条件下进行检测(且不受人为操作影响和可重复性高),二者的工况模拟和工作原理具有较强的科学性与可靠性。未来工程应用中,应尽量提高细集料的磨光值,以进一步提高路面抗滑性能;同时,如需精确地表征集料磨光值差异性与路面抗滑性能之间的关系,建议使用W/S试验进行研究。
Good skid resistance of pavement is an important guarantee for traffic safety. Moreover, aggregate quality is decisive factor that affects the skid resistance of asphalt pavements. It determines the deterioration and final value of the skid resistance. Therefore, evaluating and testing the aggregate polishing resistance are critical for studying the skid resistance performance during the entire life cycle of the pavement. To fully investigate the influence of coarse and fine aggregates on the long-term skid resistance, three new test methods were used in the study.(1) The Wehner/Schulze(W/S) accelerating polishing test was used to evaluate the polishing values of coarse and fine aggregates.(2) An accelerating polishing machine(with real tires) was used to test of the asphalt specimen.(3) The skid resistance coefficient of the specimen was analyzed under 60 km·hwith water film coverage by the friction measuring part of the W/S test. The results indicate the following:(1) The mineral composition of the aggregate is an important factor in determining the polishing resistance. The higher the polishing value of the aggregates, the better the long-term skid resistance of the asphalt pavement.(2) For the asphalt concrete(AC) pavement, the fine aggregate has a greater influence on the long-term skid resistance performance than the coarse aggregate.(3) The W/S test value is not only more accurate than the traditional Polished Stone Value(PSV) test value of coarse aggregate, but also can test the polishing value of fine aggregates.(4) Different skid resistance test equipment and test methods have a significant difference, while the accelerating polishing machine can better test the wear behavior of the asphalt sample throughout the life cycle, and the W/S skid resistance can better test the dynamic friction coefficient. Moreover, it is not affected by human operation and has high repeatability. Thus, the work conditions and principles of the two new methods are more scientific and responsible. Therefore, the polishing value of fine aggregates should be increased in future engineering tasks to improve the skid resistance. Furthermore, the W/S test can accurately characterize the relationship between the polishing resistance of the aggregate and the skid resistance, so it should be fully applied in future research.
