The CPC Central Committee’s General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the rule of law in education reflect the integration of his rule-of-law thoughts and his important expositions on education, and are of great significance for the promotion of rule-by-law education in the educational system. His expositions on the rule of law in education mainly include four aspects:the legislation for educational development,law-based administration for educational governance, adherence to law-based school running with Chinese characteristics, and the start of rule-of-law education at primary schools. These important expositions guide the fundamental direction of the construction of the rule of law in education in China, and constitute the core connotations of the construction of the rule of law in education in terms of strategic layout, value orientation, practice approaches and specific scopes. Under the guidance of these important expositions,China boasts of a more complete education-related legal system,increasingly-consummated law-based educational administration,a preliminarily-built system of school governance, and systematically-promoted education under the rule of law. These important expositions guide the right direction for the socialist "rule of law in education" with Chinese characteristics, provide rich connotations for the theoretical system for the rule of law in education, and clarify the guidelines for the comprehensive promotion of rule-by-law education.
