不同功能型园林植物枝叶性状的差异与关联 被引量:1

Differences and correlations of leaf and current-year twig traits of different functional garden plants

摘要 植物功能性状反映植物对生境变化的适应以及有机体的相互作用,不同功能型园林植物生长生存策略和适应性机制尚不清楚.以中国科学院成都生物研究所园区35种园林植物作为研究对象,分析不同功能型植物(常绿乔木、常绿灌木、落叶乔木、落叶灌木和多年生草本植物)6种叶片性状(叶长、叶宽、叶面积、比叶面积、叶绿素含量和叶干重)和6种当年生小枝性状(茎长、小枝直径、茎干重、比茎长、出叶强度和展叶效率)的变异,比较各功能型植物枝叶性状的差异以及性状间关联性.结果显示:(1)植物性状的总体变异以及种间变异程度不同,叶干重(178.09%)和展叶效率(175.56%)的总体变异系数最大,比叶面积(54.25%)和小枝直径(61.86%)的总体变异系数最小;叶片(17.42%-142.15%)和小枝(16.39%-128.73%)性状的变异均较大.(2)常绿乔木叶绿素含量和叶干重以及落叶乔木叶片面积和比叶面积显著高于其他功能型群组;常绿灌木的出叶强度和比茎长以及落叶乔木的小枝直径和展叶效率最大(P <0.05).(3)叶面积与叶干重呈显著正相关(P <0.001),比叶面积与叶绿素含量呈显著负相关,展叶效率与小枝直径、出叶强度呈显著正相关;不同功能型植物性状的相关关系略有不同,灌木和多年生草本植物的叶片干重和面积与叶宽表现更为明显的相关性.本研究表明不同功能型园林植物性状存在显著的差异与相关,综合植物功能性状可以反映园林植物的生态适应策略. The functional traits of plants reflect their adaptation to habitat changes and interactions between organisms. The growth, survival strategies, and adaptive mechanisms of different functional garden plants remain unclear. In this study, 35 species of garden plants were collected from the campus of the Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The six leaf traits(length, width, area, specific area,chlorophyll content, and dry weight) and six current-year twig traits(length, diameter, dry weight, specific length,length-based leafing intensity, and length-based leaf display efficiency of stem) of the different functional plant types(evergreen trees and shrubs, deciduous trees and shrubs, and perennial plants) were then analyzed to figure out variations and correlations among the traits. We found that the total variation coefficient of leaf dry weight(178.09%) and length-based leaf display efficiency(175.56%) were the largest;the total variation coefficient of leaf area(54.25%) and stem diameter(61.86%) were the smallest. Both leaf traits(17.42%-142.15%)and current-year twig traits(16.39%-128.73%) of the garden plants had obvious variations in groups. Evergreen and deciduous trees had significantly higher chlorophyll content, leaf dry weight, leaf area, and specific leaf area than those of other functional groups, respectively. Not only the length-based leafing intensity and specific stem length of evergreen shrubs, but also the stem diameter and length-based leaf display efficiency of deciduous trees were greater among the different functional groups(P < 0.05). Leaf area positively correlated with leaf dry weight(P < 0.001), whereas specific leaf area were negatively correlated with chlorophyll content. Length-based leaf display efficiency had positive correlations with stem diameter and length-based leafing intensity. Different functional types indicated slightly specific correlations between different plant traits with each other. Leaf dry weight and leaf area of shrubs and perennials had significant correlations with their leaf width. The results indicated significant differences and correlations among the characteristics of different functional garden plants,and the integrated plant functional traits reflected the ecological adaptation strategies of garden plants.
