Long non-coding RNA and the regulatory mechanism of aging

摘要 衰老是导致神经退行性疾病、心血管疾病和癌症等慢性疾病以及机体功能障碍的关键因素。长链非编码RNA(lncRNA)是一种序列保守的非编码RNA,通过直接与DNA、RNA以及蛋白质结合,发挥多种功能。值得注意的是,lncRNAs参与调控了衰老及多种衰老相关疾病的病理过程,有可能成为调节衰老以及治疗衰老相关疾病的重要靶点。本综述系统地阐述了lncRNAs的结构和功能,并介绍了其在衰老机制中发挥的作用,为lncRNAs靶向衰老相关疾病提供了理论基础。 Aging is a key factor leading to chronic diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases,cardiovascular diseases and cancers,as well as body dysfunction.long non-codingRNA(lncRNA)are non-coding RNAs with conserved sequences that can perform multiple functions by directly binding to DNA,RNA and proteins.It is worth noting that lncRNAs participate in the regulation of the pathological process of aging and a variety of aging-related diseases.lncRNAsmay become an important target for regulating aging and treating aging-related diseases.This review systematically described the structure and function of lncRNAs,and introduced their role in the aging mechanism,providing a theoretical basis for lncRNAs to target aging-related diseases.
