摘要
随着美德伦理学的复兴以及学术界对亚里士多德的经典美德伦理学范式的反思,有学者在比较朱熹和亚里士多德思想的基础上得出了朱熹是理想类型的美德伦理学家的结论。然而,从儒家思想的连续性和整体性角度来看,朱熹对于美德的推崇以及核心概念“仁”的推演都是在孔子学说的基础上进行的。孔子崇德贵仁开创了儒家崇德的传统,孔子以“仁”言人为朱熹将“仁”视为人性奠定了基础。因此,如果承认朱熹是理想类型的美德伦理学家,那么孔子则是理想的美德伦理学的奠基者。
With the revival of virtue ethics and the reflection of Aristotle’s classical virtue ethics paradigm in the academic world, some scholars have drawn the conclusion that Zhu Xi is an ideal type of virtue ethicist on the basis of comparing Zhu Xi and Aristotle’s thoughts. However, from the perspective of the continuity and integrity of Confucianism, Zhu Xi’s respect for virtue and the deduction of the core concept of“benevolence”are based on Confucius’ theory. Confucius initiated the Confucian tradition of advocating virtue and benevolence, and Confucius laid the foundation for Zhu Xi to regard“benevolence”as human nature. Therefore, if Zhu Xi is recognized as an ideal type of virtue ethicist, then Confucius is the founder of the ideal virtue ethics.
