摘要
目的随着时代与科技的发展,字体设计的主动性正在释放,字体的应用场景更加多元、自由。在此背景下,以汉字传统为参照,总结当代字体设计的方法与思路,让传统与当代互连,让传统在当代新生。方法以当代视角观照汉字传统,结合具体字体设计案例分析,从“还原经典”“古典今造”“古今互融”“形意结合”“多维视感”“材质假象”六个角度,阐述当代字体设计的方法与观念。结论当代字体设计是面对当下时代所进行的设计实践,它不断承接新的技术变革,并不断拓展字体设计的知识体系。当代字体设计既要继承优秀汉字传统,也要顺应时代的新语境,以新观念、新思维进行字体设计的探索与实践,以期适应时代技术的发展趋势,推动汉字传统的新生。
With the development of the times and technology,the initiative of font design is being released,and the application scenarios of fonts are more diverse and free.In this context,the work aims to take the Chinese character tradition as a reference to summarize the methods and ideas of contemporary font design,so that the tradition and the contemporary era can be interconnected,and the tradition can be reborn in the contemporary era.Looking at the Chinese character tradition from a contemporary perspective,the analysis was carried out combined with the specific font design cases and the methods and concepts of contemporary font design were expounded from six perspectives of"classic restoration","classic reproduction","ancient and modern integration","combination of shape and meaning","multidimensional visual sense"and"material illusion".Contemporary font design is a design practice in the face of the current era.It constantly undertakes new technological changes and continuously expands the knowledge system of font design.Contemporary font design should not only inherit the excellent Chinese character tradition,but also adapt to the new context of the times,explore and practice font design with new concepts and new thinking,in order to follow the technology development trend of the times and promote the rebirth of Chinese character tradition.
