摘要
立足于商品需求方特征,探究不同中间使用份额部门(商品需求方使用目的特征)、外省使用份额部门(商品需求方来源地特征)从公路改善中获益的程度差异。相比现有相关研究主要集中于商品供给方特征,贡献了需求方视角的证据。依托模型,从理论上探讨公路对不同中间使用份额部门、外省使用份额部门雇佣人数和产值的异质性影响。结果表明,当城市外部环境不变时,中间使用份额越高、外省使用份额越高的部门,其雇佣人数、产值对城市内部公路存量的弹性越大。进一步,使用交通路网图层数据、城市间贸易数据、中国工业企业数据等相关数据,实证检验理论预期结果是否成立。研究发现,保持其他变量不变,增加城市内部公路,将使中间使用份额高、外省使用份额高的部门获得更多提升,其中对部门雇佣人数的提升效果弱于部门产值方面。研究有助于深化对交通基础设施与区域协调发展关系的理解。
This paper uses the demand-side characteristics of commodities to explore the difference in the degree to which different intermediate use share sectors(the demand-side characteristic of the purpose of use) and other provinces’ use share sectors(the demand-side characteristic of consumer location) benefit from highway improvement. This paper contributes evidence from the demand-side perspective to related research on the characteristics of commodity suppliers. This paper relies on the model to theoretically analyze the heterogeneity of the impact of highways on the employment and output of different intermediate-use sectors and other provincial-use sectors. The analysis shows that when the external environment of the city remains unchanged, the elasticity of employment and output to the internal urban highway stock is greater for the sectors with a higher share of intermediate use or higher provincial use. Further, we use the traffic network layers, intercity trade data, Chinese industrial enterprise data, and other related data to empirically test the validity of the theoretical results. We find that, keeping other variables unchanged, increasing the urban internal highways promotes sectors with a high share of intermediate use or high use share in other provinces, and the effect of increasing employment is weaker than that of output. This paper contributes to a deeper understanding of the relationship between transportation infrastructure and the coordinated development of regions.
