Guanidine gum fracturing fluid is one of the most widely used fracturing fluid systems in oil and gas field development. There is a certain amount of residual crosslinking agent in the flowback liquid, which will cause the problem of crosslinking in advance in the process of circulating preparation,so the masking experiment of residual boron in flowback liquid by polyhydroxy compounds such as glycerol, ethylene glycol, mannitol, and xylitol is carried out.The experiment results show that mannitol with molar ratio of 2:1 to boron can be used as the masking agent to reduce the adverse effect of advanced crosslinking.According to the water quality characteristics and reuse indexes of fracturing flowback fluid, the guanidine gum fracturing flowback fluid treatment process centered on“flocculation sedimentation+ion control+two-stage filtration”has been used. After treatment, the removal rates of suspended solids, calcium and magnesium ions, and boron are 95.6%,72.6%and 71.5%respectively.The guanidine gum fracturing fluid is prepared directly after the fracturing flowback fluid is treated, and no crosslinking occurred in advance.Compared with the guanidine gum fracturing fluid prepared with clean water, the temperature resistance and shear resistance meet the requirements of on-site construction.
