On the development of Chinese education in Latin America and the Caribbean

摘要 进入21世纪以来,中国和拉美地区合作不断深化,经贸往来日益频繁,拉美地区中文教育成果显著。基础教育阶段,多国推进中文纳入国民教育体系进程;高等教育阶段,多所高校开设中文相关专业;孔子学院(课堂)充分发挥主力作用和辐射效应;华文教育初具规模,为中文教育发展奠定基础。拉美地区中文教育不断发展的同时,也面临许多问题,如中文教育的学科地位有待提升,本土化水平亟需提高,中文教育力量分散、孔子学院同质化严重,疫情带来的挑战等。为推动拉美地区中文教育的发展,应深化中拉合作,进一步提升中文教育的学科地位和影响力;加强区域研究,了解拉美地区中文教育发展的实际需求;增强区域联动,鼓励多元主体参与中文教育发展;推进内涵发展,提升拉美地区中文教育发展的本土化水平。 Since the beginning of the 21st century,cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean(LAC)has been deepening,economic and trade exchanges have become increasingly frequent,and Chinese education in Latin America has achieved remarkable results.As for basic education,many countries promote the integration of Chinese education into their national education system.As for higher education,many universities offer majors related to Chinese language.Confucius Institutes(classrooms)are the main institutions of Chinese education and give full play to radiation effect.Overseas Chinese language education has begun to take shape,laying the foundation for the development of Chinese language education in LAC.With the continuous development of Chinese education in LAC,there are also many problems:the disciplinary status of Chinese education and the level of localization need to be improved,the strength of Chinese education is scattered and lack of cohesion,and the challenges brought by the epidemic need to be dealt with properly.In order to advance the development of Chinese education in LAC,it is necessary to deepen further the cooperation between China and countries in LAC,enhance continuously the status and influence of Chinese education,strengthen regional studies to understand the actual needs of learners of Chinese in Latin America,reinforce the regional linkage and encourage diverse organizations and individuals to participate in the development of Chinese education,and promote the connotation development and improve the localization level of Chinese education in LAC.
