摘要
多囊卵巢综合征(PCOS)是一种常见的内分泌代谢性疾病,存在胰岛素抵抗及高雄激素血症等异常;铁死亡是一种铁累积和脂质过氧化驱动的非凋亡可调控性细胞死亡方式,主要表现为过量活性氧(ROS)产生、抗氧化能力降低和线粒体功能障碍;已有的相关动物研究表明铁死亡在PCOS的发病机制中起重要作用,但需要更多的临床前和临床研究对相关的分子和功能连接进行探究。本文旨在综述PCOS与铁死亡关系的研究进展,为PCOS的机制探究提供新思路,为其诊断和治疗提供新靶点。
Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is a common endocrine and metabolic disease with insulin resistance and hyperandrogenemia.Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic regulatory cell death mode driven by iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation,which is mainly manifested by excessive production of reactive oxygen species(ROS),decreased antioxidant capacity and mitochondrial dysfunction.Existing animal studies have shown that ferroptosis plays an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS,but more preclinical and clinical studies are needed to explore the molecular and functional linkages involved.This article aims to review the research progress of the relationship between PCOS and ferroptosis,provide new ideas for the exploration of the mechanism of PCOS,and provide new targets for its diagnosis and treatment.
