摘要 “外研社·国才杯”全国英语写作大赛为外语教学方面影响力较大的比赛,其促进英语写作教学的正面反拨效应受到足够重视。学生在备赛练习以及正式比赛中,文章的谋篇布局、词汇应用、写作内容等方面均有可能出现一系列问题,对于这些问题以及其原因的分析可以为教师提供改进教学的方向。教师可从学生备赛习作中的问题反观自身教学,从英文写作的内容与形式等方面提高大学英语写作教学的效果,从而达成“以赛促学”。 FLTRP・ETIC Cup English Writing Contest is an influential competition in the field of English language teaching,and its positive washback effects on the teaching of English writing in college deserve sufficient attention.The analysis on the problems in students5 writing and their causes in terms of the layout of English writing,basic language skills,and content of writing can provide teachers with suggestions for their teaching.Teachers can thus reflect on their own teaching from the problems in students5 preparation for the competition and improve the effectiveness of college English writing teaching in terms of the content and form of English writing,so as to achieve the target of promoting learning by competition.
